2010 - 2011 School Year News School starts in just a few short weeks! Are you ready? Your teachers and staff are ready to begin the new school year and are looking forward to see our returning students and welcoming our new students. This year, HCPA, will be a full K-12 school. Look below for useful tips and important information regarding your first day at school. School Orientation - Friday, August 13, from 3pm - 6pm. Click here for more details. School Hours Elementary School Students (K - 6) - hours are 9:00am - 4:00pm Middle and High School Students (7 - 12) - hours are 7:20am - 2:40pm The school builiding will be open from 7:00am - 4:30pm. First Day of School - Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Transportation, dress code, and other important information has been mailed to the home address of each student. With over 400 friends and family in attendance, we cheered on our 64 graduates as they made their way across one academic threshold. The future holds many possibilities for our students. Hmong College Prep Academy 1st Charter School to Offer College-In-Schools Anatomy and Physiology HCPA is proud to add CIS Anatomy and Physiology to its growing list of CIS-offered courses for Fall 2010. In addition to this science class, HCPA also offers CIS courses in: Calculus, Chinese, English Composition, Government, Psychology, and US History. Hmong College Prep Academy on U.S. News Report U.S. News and World Report announces top high schools in the nation. Hmong College Prep Academy is awarded Bronze Medal and named one of 39 schools in Minnesota (out of 20,000+ schools in the nation) to receive this recognition.
