All applicants must have experience working with children with diverse ethnic background in an urban school setting.  Prefer candidates with three plus years of teaching experience.

• High School Physics Teacher
  Must hold a current Minnesota grades 5-12, 7-12, 9-12 or K-12 Physics Licensure.
  
  
• Elementary/Middle/High School Math Teacher
  Must hold a current Minnesota grades K-6, K-8, 5-12 or 7-12 Math Licensure.
  
  
• Speech Pathologist
  Must hold a current Minnesota grades K-12 Speech Language Therapist Licensure.

NON-LICENSED:

• Teaching Assistant
  Teaching Assistant will aid classroom teachers to model the Hmong Academy educational programs and to create a classroom environment that is conducive to teaching-learning and personal growth in accordance with each student’s ability.  Inspired by basing one’s teaching commitment on the premise that all children can learn and will learn to their highest potential.

Prefer Assoc. Degree or BA/BS or years of experience working with children with diverse ethnic background in an urban school setting. Please send, fax or e-mail a letter of interest along with a resume and three letters of references.

OTHER POSTIONS:

• Technology Specialist
  Candidate will set up computers, electronic mail accounts, computer programs, and various other day-to-day tasks.  Assist faculty and staff with computer-based applications and peripherals.
  
  In addition to these duties and responsibilities, the Technology Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the servers and network that are crucial to the operations of the school.
  
  Candidate must be highly proficient with, but not limited to, Active Directory, Exchange 2007, Hewlett Packard servers and network infrastructure.
