Community Service Learning Hosts American Red Cross Blood Drive

January is National Blood Donor Month.  Under the direction of Mr. Zajkowski, our students partnered with the American Red Cross to host a Blood Drive on Friday, January 20.  The goal was 30 pints of whole blood and we were able to get 37 pints from students, staff, teachers and members of the community!  Way to go!

After a two-week Winter Break, we look forward to seeing all of our students.

HCPA Makes AYP!
Hmong College Prep Academy makes AYP in all areas of Reading, Math, and Participation. 

AYP - Academic Yearly Progress - is based upon state-mandated test scores.  Passing the state-mandated tests and school course credit are requirements for graduation and receiving a high school diploma.

Welcome Students to HCPA 2011-2012 School Year!

We are excited to welcome our new students and to see our returning students.  HCPA has had a very busy summer and the last two weeks with the teachers have been amazing!  With our new block schedule, we will be able to provide our students a full range of courses - core content like Math, English, Science and Social Studies, as well as electives like, Music, Art, Health, PE, Technology, and Hmong. 

We do ask that students keep their cell phones at home.
