The Art Department at Hmong College Prep Academy brings creativity to the classroom by offering an extenisve list of art courses. Those courses range from the most basic of art classes to very advanced and technical courses. With all of these courses, the Art Department is set on preparing students to be successful in the art world. Andrew Lawton has completed undergraduate work in graphic design from Madison Area Technical College and received his Bachelor of Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato in Art Education. Mr. Lawton’s Minnesota Teaching License is for K-12 in Art Education (Visual Arts). In his free time he enjoys playing the saxaphone, clarinet and flute. Heather Schuer graduated from Minnesota State University, Moorhead with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education. She holds a K-12 Minnesota teaching license in Art Education (Visual Arts).
