The Music Department at Hmong College Prep Academy is focused on helping students work together as a group to accomplish a harmonious sound. Classified as performing arts, the Music Department uses vocal and instrumental music to bring yet another form of creative energy from the students at Hmong College Prep Academy.

Introduction to Piano

A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, Ms. Pierce brings to Hmong Academy a wealth of musical knowledge.  She has done graduate work in Music Education from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and is in the process of completing her Masters of Arts in Music Education from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.  Currently she is a member of Two Rivers Chorale.  Ms. Pierce holds a Minnesota teaching license in K-12 Vocal, Instrumental and Classroom music. In her free time, Ms. Pierce enjoys singing, down-hill skiing, canoeing, camping, and reading.
