 Mrs. Hang is the founder of Hmong College Prep Academy, a K-12 charter school that opened in fall 2004 with over 250 students. Currently the Academy has grown to include grades K-12 with 450+ students. Hang is the first Hmong woman to lead a successful opening of a Hmong-focused charter school. She is currently CEO and School Director for Hmong Academy, the first Hmong-focused high school in the nation, with Hmong literacy and culture integrated into all aspects of daily learning. She initiated the development and planning of the Academy beginning in 2000, and has provided technical support and resources since its inception. She has a Masters of Arts in Organizational Management and Communications from Concordia University, and is currently in the process of obtaining her Doctorate in Education Administration and Superintendence. Mrs. Hang also has additional entrepreneurial and management experience as a small business owner, with fifteen years of administrative/business experience and ten years in working within K-12 public school (both traditional and charter) administration offices. Mrs. Hang currently serves as board chair, board member, chairwoman, and president of a number of non-profit organizations.
Mrs. Hang has recently been featured in articles in the Minnesota Women's Press, KARE 11 News, Hmong Times, Hmong Today, and Twin Cities Daily Planet. She was also a speaker at the 2006 National Forum on Education Policy and the 2007 Minnesota Department of Education NCLB Leadership Institute.

 Dr. Gallinger has more than 30 years experience in the field of education. Her Masters work was through Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ and she earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Fischler Graduate School, Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Both graduate level degrees are in Organizational Leadership. She has served as a classroom teacher, a Curriculum and Federal Programs Director, and a graduate-level instructor for the University of Phoenix, in Phoenix, AZ.
She now serves as the Dean of Education and is responsible for mentoring, coaching, training and evaluating all teachers, support teachers, and specialists. Her commitment is to ensure standards-based, differentiated instruction is presented in each content area. Data from state and norm-referenced testing outcomes are used to compare student achievement at the classroom level. She provides training for all teachers to empower their instructional program which, then, impacts the success of each student on the state tests.
