Special Education classes are available for students with learning disabilities in the areas of reading and mathematics.

An individualized program is designed for each student and addresses problems in the areas of:

• Listening Comprehension,
• Language Development
• Reading Skills
• Writing Skills
• Mathematics

Typically, students with learning disabilities have average intelligence, but require more specific instructional strategies, program modifications and accommodations to support and assist them in overcoming their disability. Appropriate interventions are applied for each student.

This class is based on teacher patience and a belief in the value of each child. The teacher works to raise both the skill levels and self esteem of students.
